Go karting has become big business. The World Karting Association's National Series is the biggest in North America and has had over 50,000 people as members since it first began back in 1971. The National Series is seen as a springboard for a driver's career and many former winners have gone on to have successful careers in NASCAR. If you are passionate about go karting and dream of a career in NASCAR or Formula One, then you need to be a part of the World Karting Association.

The greatest drivers in Formula One began their career go karting. Two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso began go karting at the age of just three years old and Formula One legend Michael Schumacher began at age four. This is the great thing about go karting; you can start at any age because you do not need a driving license to use a go kart.

You may be worried that you do not have enough money to pursue a career in go karting or professional driving; after all, it is a very expensive hobby. But let's take a look at world champion Fernando Alonso again. He came from a modest family and they did not have the money to support his racing ambitions. But his raw talent drove him to success. The victories he earned attracted sponsorship and gave him the funds he needed to keep chasing his dream. If he can do it, why can't you? All you need is a dream and the talent to pursue that dream.
